PIONEER V/MS contains all of the recognized vitamins and
minerals in significant ratios and amounts. Included are all
known trace minerals, many of which are no longer present in

foods and other stimuli can lead to the formation of many
dangerous free radical molecules in the body. PIONEER V/MS
contains safe, yet very high levels of the antioxidant nutrients
beta carotene, vitamin E, vitamin C and yeast-free selenium.
These excellent free radical-quenching substances enhance the
functioning of the body’s natural defense systems.Manganese

3. Mixed Sources of Vitamins and Minerals.
Five vitamins and eleven minerals in PIONEER V/MS are
derived from two or more forms of the same nutrient.
PIONEER includes multiple sources and/or forms of the same
nutrient to enhance one’s chances of biologically recognizing
and utilizing that nutrient.
4. Chelated Minerals of High Bioavailability.
Although more expensive than commonly used forms,
PIONEER favors chelated minerals because current research
suggests that these forms most closely resemble the body’s
own chemistry. This affinity enables chelated minerals to be
more readily absorbed, more efficiently transported in the
blood, and better utilized within body cells.We use: citrate,
malate, picolinate, aspartate, glycinate, lysinate, methionate and
glutathionate.
5. Superior Absorption of B12. Methylcobalamin is a
preferred form of vitamin B12 that doesn’t require enzymatic
conversion by the body to become active.
6. Superior Calcium Absorption. Six tablets of
V/MS contains 800 mg of calcium, with approximately 530
mg supplied by calcium citrate and calcium malate – forms
clinically shown to offer superior absorption and utilization.
The calcium in V/MS is balanced by 500 mg of high quality
magnesium, providing a beneficial 1.6:1 ratio.
7. GTF Chromium. Chromium is a key component of
Glucose Tolerance Factor, essential in maintaining normal
blood sugar levels. PIONEEER V/MS supplies high levels (300
mcg) from three forms of chromium for efficient absorption.
10. Three Forms of Zinc. This includes one third each
of lysinate, methionate and picolinate, the form most readily
recognized by the body for absorption and transport.
8. Highly Absorbable Vitamins B2 and B6. The
body must convert ordinary B vitamins to their coenzyme
forms before they can be used in cellular activities. Supplementing
directly with B coenzymes accelerates absorption
and utilization. PIONEER V/MS contains 5´-phosphate, coenzyme
forms of vitamins B2 and B6.
9. Vitamin A with Mixed Carotenoids. PIONEER
V/MS contains a protective, antioxidant vitamin A blend,
featuring 80% beta carotene and mixed carotenoids (from D.
salina), and 20% pre-formed vitamin A, in the form of water
dispersable retinyl palmitate.
10. Corn-Free Vitamin C. PIONEER’s hypoallergenic
vitamin C comes from ascorbic acid and naturally buffered
potassium ascorbate, a form which is less likely to cause any
stomach upset. Six tablets of V/MS provide a potent 1000 mg
of vitamin C.
11. 500 mg of Pantothenic Acid. Pantothenic acid
(vitamin B5) plays an important role in energy production
and is essential for the synthesis of steroid hormones, hemoglobin
and the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.
12. Folic Acid for Pregnancy and Lactation.
Folic acid intake is known to be important in the prevention
of neural tube defects. Six tablets of PIONEER V/MS contain
100% of the RDA for pregnant and lactating women.
13. Highly Absorbable, Non-constipating Iron.
V/MS contains low amounts (1.3 mg/tablet) of constipation-free,
highly absorbable iron fumarate and citrate-glycinate.
